The wandering pianist Jeanne Bleuse gives a virtuoso solo performance that brings a fresh approach to classical recitals. Playing with the traditions of the genre, this solo performer switches seamlessly from the piano to the harpsichord, sometimes even playing both instruments at once. In this latest opus, the audience will be treated to some of the great compositions for piano and harpsichord, such as the ‘Revolutionary Étude’ by Chopin, the ‘Arc-en-ciel’ by Ligeti, and fantasias by Bach or Purcell, as well as works by young composers, such as Karl Naegelen and Norobo Baba, and a composition commissioned to intrepid jazz artist Eve Risser.
