Attraction - Walter Thompson & Benjamin Groetzinger
An improvised musical ode for four elements
This exceptional project brings together more than 200 amateur dancers, instrumentalists and singers from the region, with the Orchestre des Campus, the Chœur Universitaire and an instrumental and vocal ensemble of schoolchildren from the Académie de Grenoble. It is based on ‘Soundpainting’, a sign language invented by the composer Walter Thompson, which enables real-time composition. Here, it is used to evoke the four natural elements offered by the playwright Benjamin Groetzinger. This original and unique musical performance unfolds before our eyes, creating an engaging visual and auditory experience.
