Coming from a long line of griots, singer Noura Mint Seymali draws from the deepest roots of the Mauritanian Moorish musical dynasty. This traditional imprint is a beginning to the creative work started by Noura and her musicians who succeed in popularizing and reinventing Moorish music. In addition to being a fabulous singer, Noura Mint plays the ardîn, a variation of the kora.
