Lobsang Chonzor

Lobsang Chonzor was born in India to exiled Tibetan parents. From an early age, he studied the cultural practices of his homeland and is determined to offer a traditional repertoire that is faithful to the teachings he has received. However, far from remaining stuck in tradition, he brings out all the subtlety of traditional pieces through his ingenious and personal adaptations, which are shaped by the many influences and collaborations that have dotted his musical journey from Nepal to France, where he has lived since 2008, drawing on his experiences in contemporary music
