Perrine Bourel is a guardian of the almost forgotten music of fiddlers from the southern Alps and Dauphiné region. Mosin Kawa, on the other hand, is the keeper of an oral musical tradition handed down over seven generations in his family from Rajasthan, India. This meeting of violin and tabla was born of their mutual fascination for the other’s instrument, each enabling a subtle and in-depth exploration of sound, built on a rich conversation between their respective repertoires, as well as new composed or improvised pieces.
