Ko Ishikawa (shō) and Bertrand Gauguet (alto saxophone) met for the first time in 2011, in Tokyo. Reunited by the project Hortense, by Catherine Contour, they bring us music that interweaves elements of ancestral Japanese tradition with a more spectral European approach.
